The ‘California Kid’ is a highly-regarded, early-season blooming daylily (Hemerocallis) hybridized by Dan Trimmer in 2008. It is known for its large 7 ¼ inch, fragrant ivory-yellow blooms, sunfast color, and evergreen tetraploid foliage, growing to a height of about 30 inches.
